Concert | | Your Eyez Only Tour: J. Cole

Let me just say, July 9th, 2017 was probably one of the best nights I've had in a while. Back in April I bought two tickets for both my sister and I for J.Cole's concert. My sister was not a big fan of him, so I told her that she needed to step up her game for that night and she did not disappoint. We drove to Honda Center, Anaheim (Home of the Anaheim Ducks); which was kind of exciting for the both of us because it was our second concert of the summer and our first time there too. The line to get in the concert was not that bad but the line for the merchandise was the worst line I've ever been in (including black Fridays). We both got sweated and stepped on. We got pushed in every direction. We stood in that crazy line for 45 minutes and I didn't even reach the front. A girl that was in front of me bought two shirts and I ended up paying her cash. She was a live saver. If you're wondering if we got matching shirts again the answer is YES! We wanted tour shirts and the one we really wanted was already sold out, so we got the second tour shirt. Meaning we didn't have an option. BUT the concert was amazing! J.Cole's opening performers were: J.I.D, Ari Lennox and Bas. I am a big Dreamville Fan, but I've never head of J.I.D until that night and to be honest he sounded like Kendrick Lamar. So, yes I liked him. Ari Lennox was good too I listened to her music and I liked it, I'm currently discovering more songs from her. Now Bas, he's my favorite from Dreamville of course not like J.Cole but he's second. That's when my singing started to come in! One of my favorite things from this concert compared to Chris Brown was that I was able to hear every single performer. It was amazing! J.Cole of course had the best entrance. The man walked up on stage as if he was a prisoner, EPIC! Throughout the concert he gave some inspiration/motivational speeches.  He even showed us a video of police men raiding his home. You have to see it to believe it. He performed his entire Your Eyez Only album plus of course some old popular songs. I have to say, compared to 2014 Forest Hill Drive tour his part was the best in Your Eyez Only. I LOVED IT! & yes, I lost my voice and hands down the best concert ever. Until next time.
