San Francisco | Our Story

For my birthday celebration, Luis & I explored SF.  I've been to SF many times for events but never really to explore and Luis only been once.  It was a perfect opportunity to explore SF, so let's get to it.

Once arriving we went straight to the Museum of Ice Cream Spectacular Sprinkle and well you can read all about it, here.

After MOIC we went to Black Sugar Boba Bar and we went to The Bird.  The Boba Bar was good but The Bird?  No!  A friend recommended it to me and I was highly disappointed.  It's a quick food spot so the place is packed but the food as well was not the best.  I think by far was the worst.  So, I would not recommend it, but if you've gone did you like it?  After dinner, we explored Union Square.  For our midnight snack, we went to Bob's Donut & Pastry Shop.  WOW! It was so big and delicious too!  We got the original pink donut.  If you've been to Universal Studios and you got the Simpson Donut then it's exactly that but better in my opinion.  It's not too sweet and it's bigger too!
The next morning it was rise and shine.  We woke up early and headed towards Alcatraz.  My entire time in SJ and I had never been to Alcatraz so I was excited.  The boat ride was cold af but I didn't get motion sickness so I think it was a win-win.  Learning about Alacratz and getting to see everything was such an amazing experience.  Thank you honey! ♥

Once we came back to the city we went to Pier 39 and The Exploratorium.  We explored Pier 39 and the first thing was to see the sea lions.  We ate Luigi's Pizzeria, Crepe Cafe, and Doughp (yes, its spelled like that).  They were all soo good.  Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures of it but please trust me when I say it was good!
Next thing we knew we had to run to The Exploratorium.  Also another place I've never been and it was so cool and interactive!  My only thing that bothered was that the kids were everywhere.  I mean I know kids are kids and that's enviable but the parents had no control over them.  The kids had no type of respect.  But all in all, it was a good experience I loved it! I would definitely go back again! -Also, when it came to The Exploratorium since it was all about interactions we only took videos and a couple of pictures here and there. So again, sorry for the lack of pictures.
Afterwards we went for dinner and had curry.  We went back to the hotel and ended our night early because Luis ended falling asleep.  If you're wondering, yes. Yes, I forgot to take pictures.

On Sunday, we had brunch and headed towards the San Francisco Bridge. We were at the Golden Gate Bridge until it was time to go home.  We headed towards San Jose, CA and that same afternoon Luis headed back home to SoCal.

I know I am 6 months late on this post, but it's better late than never ;)  The biggest thank you to Luis for making my birthday so special.

And thank you guys for reading and keeping up with me.  (:
