January Favorites

Hello my fellow friends, this year I'm doing this something a little different. I was inspired by all types of bloggers for monthly favorites. I figured since my monthly goals are gone; they shall be replaced. With that being said, here are my top 5 favorite and most used items of January.

GucciGG0010S || I hate choosing favorites, but I think these are my all-time favorite from my sunglasses collection. These were the only pair in my purse this month. I love how big they are so it covered majority of my face. (Loved it especially on my no makeup days or gym days) Also love the fact that they are the color black; which you can easily match it with anything AND the best part is that you can dress them up or dress them down. They are my go-to pair! *heart eyes* x3.

Everlast F.I.T || I've been going to the gym heavily this month and I went to Ross not to long ago just to "look" around and I found this slimmer belt. I've been looking for a slimmer belt and the fact that I found it for $5 was probably the best thing ever, thank you Ross! Beside it being my favorite purchase of this month, I get such satisfaction and good use from it. The best part is taking it off and seeing all the sweat. *heart eyes*

Lush: Breath of Fresh Air Toner || So, I never used a toner before until now. I'm trying to get into a skin care routine and I picked up this toner because I heard good things about it and I've been loving it. Every time I take off my makeup with my makeup remover I got in with toner and I don't realize how much makeup I still have left. (which is nasty!!) This toner helps with removing excess makeup. I also love how refreshing and soothing it feels. This has become a holy grail and thats a lot to say since I have sensitive skin.

Eva-nye: Mane Magic 10 in 1 primer || I received this hair treatment in an influenster voxbox months ago. I'm on a strict diet for my hair. All I really do to my hair is wash it everyday and use the same shampoo for years, that's it. No extra oils and condition when I buy the 2 in 1 shampoo. However, a couple of weeks ago I just saw it there and I decided to use it since its a 10 in 1. I sprayed it as soon as I got out the shower and I noticed such a huge difference. Once I started brushing it, I realized that it detangled my hair. Two thumps up. It also has a citrus scent; which smells good. Throughout the day my hair was shiny (in a good way). I felt like I was in a hair commercial. It was soft and shiny and no frizziness. It gives me a "Good Hair Day" every single time I use it.

UGG || I don't completely mean UGG the shoes, but the store itself. In December, I decided to quit my old job due to my unhappiness there. I was fortunate to be able to find and get hired fast. I started the new year with a new job and I love it. My coworkers are nice and the job itself is easy. The only little problem I have is that my feet hurt after shifts, since I'm not used to wearing UGGs boots. Other than that, its been a favorite.

I hope you enjoyed my favorites for this month and thank you for reading.
Do you have any January Favorites? If so, what are they?

Hello 2018

Hello 2018,

We are weeks into the new year and somethings never change. No new year, new me bullshit. Its more like new year, better me! I reflected on 2017, here. I made a list of 7 items that I would like to work on. Of course, these are things that are reasonable and in hope to help me better myself and my everyday life.
  1. Build a new wardrobe || I am currently working on a new wardrobe because I felt like my pieces of clothing are old and I often feel like I repeated many outfits; which there is nothing wrong in doing so. I just need a new style that represents me, and that can help me drift away from t-shirts. Yes, I've been pinteresting!
  2. Go to the Gym || I've been having a gym membership since October 2017 and I honestly probably only went a total of 10 days in 2017. In the past couple of weeks I've decided to dedicate more time to the gym. I need it anyways, *eye roll emoji* So, I hope I can keep this up.
  3. Pick my arguments || I wouldn't like to say I like to argue, but I do tend to argue, A LOT! You have no idea! But I do agree, that somethings are not even worth arguing or even wasting my time on. So, I definitely need to work on picking my arguments along with thinking twice before speaking.
  4. Save money || Biiiiiitch, in 2017 I literally spend my money on anything and everything, no joke! It was pretty bad. I always said I was "Broke Happy" after a big purchase; which I was but damn. Majority of my money was spent on food and makeup last year. This year I am trying to save money and only buy things if I NEED it. More NEEDS less WANTS.
  5. Self care || More "ME TIME," no explanation.
  6. Travel outside of California || In 2017, I did three big trips and I need more! I've been wanting to go on more travels. I love to see and experience different areas, cultures, food and scenery! I already have places and potential dates in mind, but everything is in the works. If you have any recommendations, let me know.
  7. Work on my time management || This is a huge problem of mine. When I don't manage my time well I end up frustrated, stressed, and angry. I'll sometimes just lay down and not even sleep or cry. My time management is very poor and its definitely something I need to work on this year.

With the being said, I hope you have goals for yourself this year and achieve them and if you do have goals for yourself, what are they? <3

2017 Reflection

2017 came and left in a blink of an eye.

The year just like every year had its moments. The first quarter of the year was rough, but things slowly started to pick up. What I learned is to allow time to take its course and to have patience something will end up working out at the end.
Three things I learned overall this year was:

Do what makes you happy not others.
Don't hold anything in/back.
Always treat yourself.

Highlights of 2017
1. Came back to SJSU.
2.  Declared a major.
3. Baby Destiny was born.
4. Traveled without my parents.
5. Finding out about Baby P.
6. Nephew Abel was born.
7. Improving my grades.
8. Developing my blog.
9. Learning more about myself in different aspects.
10. Making new connections/friends.

With that being said, Happy New Year.
